Adding Items

Please read carefully:   You can add the items you have for sale. They will automatically expire after about 45 days. The maintenance link (Change/Place Your Ad) is found near the bottom of the left column of categories. After you have clicked on "Change/Place your ad", a new menu will appear on the left.  (1) First click on "Get Password" to obtain your "seller name" and your "seller password". (use only letters and numbers) Each of them must be exactly 4 characters.  These will expire after about 3 months of non use, but you can get a new one. If you forget your password, Just click on "find password" and your password will be e-mailed to you..  (2) Then click on "Login".   Enter your user name and password and then click on the "Login" button.   (3) You can now click on "Add/Edit" to add listings to the system. After you have added items, when you click on "Add/Edit" a list of all of your items will appear and you can edit them, delete them, or upload a picture.   Any time you want to view your listings, just click on "Add/Edit" and you will see list of your items.  You can click on the title to see your full ad.   You will need to login only one time during a session.  You will remain logged in until you exit your browser.

Uploading Pictures

After uploading your listing, you can upload a picture. When Uploading Pictures, the name of the file you send must end with .jpg -- An example is car.jpg. The following works best:  Picture resolution: 75 dots per inch.  Pixel width of about 300.  File size must be under 20,000 bytes.  Use jpeg standard format. Windows 95 and 98 users can use Netscape version 4 or higher or Explorer version 4 or higher .  If you are using Windows 3.1, you can use Netscape 2, or higher.  PC and Mac users - if you get a "browse" button it should work.

If you have a photograph and you do not nave the ability to create a jpeg image file, DACOR can provide this service for $2.00 per photograph.  You can bring-in or mail your photo(s) to our office (519 W Wooster St, Bowling Green, Ohio).  If you mail them, please include a check for $2.00/photo, and a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like the photo(s) returned.  Please indicate clearly the Headline of the advertisement that each photo belongs so with so that we can load the image directly to your ad.  If you want a copy of the image file, you can save it from your browser after we have installed it with your ad. 

DACOR retains the right to delete your ad if it finds the content to be offensive, unsuitable, morally or ethically questionable, in violation of any federal, state, or local statutes, or is plainly a conflict of interest to our Community.
